Brief about Aseema:
Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential. It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools – The Pali Chimbai Municipal School and Pereira Wadi Municipal School in Bandra (West) and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).
In Igatpuri, Aseema works with very poor tribal children who live in the remote tribal village to provide them with quality education. Today we reach out to more than over 3000 students and besides the finest quality of education, we provide them with nutritious meals and also attend to their physical and mental well-being. Co-curricular activities like sports, art, music, dance, judo and yoga are carried out in all our schools so that the children receive a well-rounded and holistic education. We also cater to over 900 alumni who are studying at Universities and also assist them with securing employment. Aseema’s training team woks with low-income schools in Kanpur and Lucknow and trains teachers there on Aseema’s education approach.
Position Summary:
As a Sales and Marketing Executive, your primary role would be to devise a marketing strategy by building brand and product awareness with the help of digital marketing/ social media resulting in increased sales of our products.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Strategic Marketing and Business Development
- Speak and showcase Aseema products to both external and internal audiences
- Ensure Aseema’s presence in retail outlets and that existing outlets are performing well.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand Aseema’s product reach.
- Craft and implement marketing strategies that align with organizational goals and promote product visibility.
- Design campaigns that integrate market insights with innovative sales techniques to capture untapped markets.
2. Digital Initiatives and Social Media Marketing
- Oversee and manage all social media platforms to increase brand engagement and reach.
- Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns, including email marketing, display ads, and social media promotions.
- Track and analyse digital marketing metrics to measure success and refine strategies.
3. Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
- Use insights to propose enhancements to product offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Develop buyer personas and identify key pain points to tailor messaging and improve conversion rates.
4. Sales and Revenue Growth
- Set and achieve sales targets in collaboration with the CSO.
- Generate leads through various channels, including digital marketing, networking, and partnerships.
- Work closely with the Product Division team to optimize sales funnels and improve lead conversion rates.
5. Pricing Plans and Budgeting
- Develop and manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Prepare and monitor budgets for marketing and promotional activities.
- Present financial analyses to support decision-making on campaigns and product development.
6. PR Management and Promotion Planning
- Develop and execute public relations campaigns to enhance Aseema’s brand reputation.
- Collaborate with media outlets and partners to generate positive coverage.
- Plan and oversee promotional events and product launches to maximize exposure.
7. Database Building and Analysis
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of clients, partners, and prospects.
- Analyse customer data to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for targeted marketing.
- Leverage data insights to improve engagement and retention strategies.
8. Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate partners and clients.
- Act as the point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and alignment on objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless experiences to stakeholders.

- Solid understanding of MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Position: School – Social Worker

- Assist the Community Work Centre – Head in implementing various activities of the CWC
- Act as a link between community and school through regular home visits and identify dropouts
- Conduct admission process of children and maintain the relevant documents
- Prepare home visit reports, detailed case studies of children, CWC reports and minutes of the meeting
- Organize training programmes for parents on topics related to education, health, and vulnerability.
- Ensure overall attendance of children is increasing in line with the goals set by the organization.
- Actively participate in Parents meeting and provide feedback on the progress of the child to the parent
- Ensure Learning Disability (LD) certificates of all children are collected from the hospital
- Coordinate and network with other civil society groups working in the social sector
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Candidate with Bachelor in Social Worker / Master in Social Worker preferred

Job Vacancy: Special Educator
Position: Special Educator

Position Summary:
As a Special Educator, you will identify children with special education needs and give them specialized support to help them realize their full potential. You will work in close collaboration with class teachers, social workers and counsellors to ensure that the school takes all possible measures to support the children’s well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and carry out informal assessments to identify children who need special education support and understand their learning needs.
- Design Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each child, in light of their learning needs.
- Plan and carry out effective and engaging remedials sessions for the children.
- Set clear goals for the children and keep track of their progress.
- Take all possible steps to boost student engagement, motivation and self-belief. Work with the children with empathy and respect.
- Collaborate with teachers, social workers, counsellors and parents to promote the children’s well-being.
Education: Graduate with B.Ed. Certification in Special Education is preferred.
Required Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience of working with children with learning difficulties, preferably children from marginalized communities (minimum of 3 years’ experience).
- Experience of conducting assessments for LDs and reporting the findings in a sensitive and constructive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to develop IEPs for children independently or in consultation with class teacher and subject teachers, and to implement these to a high standard.
- An understanding of the educational options for children with LDs.
Preferred Experience:
- Working with children from marginalized communities.
- Experience of working with parents to ensure that they understand their children’s needs and are able to support their learning.
- Experience with/ability to use ICT technologies in a productive way, particularly for special education.
